An airport has to work as one system: runways and pavements, parking and public access, buildings and utilities. Rahyaft designs, upgrades and resurfaces runways and their alignments, organises airport parking and public transport, designs utilities and carries out hydrology studies, and plans pedestrian movement and wayfinding. It also provides architectural and structural design for airport complex buildings and assesses intelligent transport systems for the airport's public transport.
The following projects were carried out for the Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company: the master plan studies of Bandar Lengeh airport; the refurbishment studies of the staff lodging buildings and the design of ancillary spaces at Nowshahr airport; and the studies and design of protective walls and fencing for the Bandar Abbas, Abu Musa, Larestan and Lamerd airports.
