Traffic safety is direct work to reduce crashes and save lives, in towns and on rural roads. Rahyaft audits the safety of existing roads and streets, designs safety improvements for black spots, designs and sites road markings and traffic signs at phase 1 and 2, and makes streets and junctions safer. Each study ends in a design the road authority can build.
Clients include national road agencies and municipalities. Examples include the black-spot safety studies on the rural roads of Isfahan, Yazd and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari provinces for the Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization, the safety audit of vertical signs on Kermanshah's arterial roads for the province's roads and urban development directorate, and the safety audit of highways in Tehran Municipality Region 1.
