Rahyaft feeds what it learns on projects back into training and research. Its training department runs online webinars, seminars and workshops on transport and traffic, and courses in specialist transport planning and traffic software. The firm writes and translates books, among them «A Guide to Road Marking Details on Iran's Rural Roads» and «Developing Intelligent Transport Systems in Qom», publishes papers in journals and at international conferences, and sits on the national standards committee for transport engineering.
Rahyaft also drafts codes and guidelines for public agencies. Examples include compiling the rural road marking code for the Road Ministry Research Institute, and the guideline for identifying and prioritising accident black spots and the criteria for roundabouts in Tehran, both for the Tehran Transportation and Traffic Organization.
